Introduced in 1951, the Eames Wire Chair DKR-2, also know as the "Bikini" chair is a lightweight, sculptural wire frame side chair.  It features a steel shell with the dowel base.  The 2 piece leather cushion and back resembles a bikini and offers comfort and aesthetic.
